Connecticut Website Company
Onboarding

Website onboarding questionnaire.

Thanks for working with us! The more you fill in here, the closer your new website will be to exactly what you want — and the faster we can build it.

Before you start

A few ground rules that help us the most.

Take your time, fill in what you can, and paste links to your logo and photos. The blanks you fill in are exactly what we build from.

  • Don't worry about writing perfectly. Bullet points and rough notes are fine.
  • If a question doesn't apply, just write N/A.
  • If you're not sure of an exact number (years in business, jobs completed, etc.), please don't guess — write “not sure” and we'll leave it off rather than put something inaccurate on your site.
  • Anywhere it says “paste a link,” a Google Drive / Dropbox folder is perfect.

Fields marked * are required. Everything else is optional.

1 · The basics

Who we'll be working with day to day.

Where contact-form messages should go.

Or write “service area only — no walk-ins.”

Not sure? Write “not sure” — we'd rather leave it off than guess.

2 · What you do

Homeowners, other businesses, a specific town, etc.

List every town — these become real pages that help you show up in local searches.

Be specific — “family-owned since X,” “only shop in the county that does Y,” etc.

3 · Your services / products

These become individual pages, so the more you list, the more your site can rank for.

One per line. A sentence or two each is plenty.

4 · Licenses, certifications & credentials

Only list things that are actually true and current — we put these front and center as trust signals, so accuracy matters.

Insured / bonded?

Or write “not sure.”

5 · Your brand look

…or upload your logo here

or drag and drop them here.

Up to 25 files, 250 MB each.

Hex codes if you have them — “the green from my logo” works too.

Yours or anyone's — paste 2–3 links and a word on what you like about each.

    Colors, styles, competitors' looks.

    6 · Photos

Real photos of your actual work, team, and location are the #1 thing that makes a site feel like you and not a template. This is worth the effort.

…or upload your photos right here

Drag them in straight from your phone or computer. Video is fine too.

or drag and drop them here.

Up to 25 files, 250 MB each.

If you don't have good photos, would you be open to a quick photo shoot?

      7 · Goals

What's the #1 thing you want the website to do?

Do you need any of these? Check all that apply

      8 · Anything else

Quirks of your business, seasonal notes, a story about how you started, pet peeves about your current site, deadlines. Dump it all here.

Upload any other files — Word documents, PDFs, brochures, price lists

or drag and drop them here.

Up to 25 files, 250 MB each.

        Sending files

        Photos and big files.

Drag your files straight onto the form — photos, PDFs, Word docs, even video. Up to 25 files at a time, 250 MB each, so a full phone camera roll is no problem. If your files already live in Google Drive or Dropbox, paste the share link instead and set it to “anyone with the link can view.”
