Last updated: October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Connecticut Website Company (“we,” “us,” or “our”), 480 Queen St, Suite C, Southington, CT 06489, handles information collected through www.connecticutwebsitecompany.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you give us
We collect the information you choose to send us through the Site’s forms and tools:
Contact and inquiry forms. Your name, email address, phone number, the service you’re interested in, and your message.
Client onboarding questionnaire. Details about your business that you provide for a website project, such as your business name, address, hours, services, service areas, licenses and certifications, brand preferences, and links to your logo or photos. Files you upload (logos, photos, documents, or video) go directly to our file-storage provider and are shared with our team through your submission.
Website support requests. Your name, email address, business or website, and a description of the change you need.
AI voice assistant. Before a voice conversation starts, we ask for your name and email address so we can send you a recap. During the conversation, your voice is processed in real time by third-party AI speech services so the assistant can understand and answer you. We keep a written transcript of the conversation and an AI-generated summary with your inquiry. We do not store an audio recording of the conversation on our systems.
Information collected automatically
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site, such as which pages are viewed, how long visits last, and whether someone taps a phone number, email link, or directions link. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as your device type, browser, approximate location, and the website that referred you. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies are off by default. You can read how Google uses this data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services and opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Site performance and error reports. The Site reports page-speed measurements and technical error reports. We use them only to keep the Site fast and working.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, for security and operations.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and requests; send you the recap or confirmation you asked for; prepare quotes and deliver the services you hire us for; build and maintain your website if you’re a client; understand how the Site is used and improve it; and protect the Site against spam, abuse, and security threats.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as much as they need to do that work:

File storage, to hold files uploaded through the onboarding questionnaire. AI services, to power the voice assistant’s real-time conversation and summarize its transcripts. Google Analytics, to measure Site traffic as described above.

Third-party content and links
Some pages include content hosted by other companies, such as 360° virtual tours, and links to services like Google Maps, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Yelp. Those services have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry, onboarding, support, and voice-assistant records for as long as we need them to respond to you, provide our services, and maintain business records, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
